 A tale by Maria Aglikina

"When children are happy, they jump, they sing, they run. When flowers are happy, they bloom. And if a flower decides to bloom, nothing can stop it. Even less so if that flower is a snowdrop, whose story I would like to tell you."
The pig had its dwelling just above the snowdrop and had no intention of moving. Since the earth is round, the flower then decided to pierce through it at any cost, for spring was coming.

Snowdrop is both an initiatory journey and an ode to spring and youth.

UN JOUR PRES DE SOFIA

Nomades publisher (France)

From the small village to the big city, my journey is that of a simple day, that of the first glance. I encounter inhabitants, each on their way to their "somewhere," living "a day"... My day near Sofia is dressed in the colors of the Balkans, their chaotic charm and contrasts, in this blend of poetry and irony that reminds me of home.
